Designer Yigal Azrouel's Trunk Show Benefiting RMHC-SD

November 19th, 2010 Lee Posnock and Miriam Smotrich hosted a very chic trunk show at the La Jolla home of Lee Posnock.

The big draw was two-fold. One, the very collectible and coveted designs of Yigal Azrouel. Urban, chic, innovative with currents of timeless Chanel, Yigal designs are worn by quite a few celebrities, red carpet or otherwise, as well as quite a few well dressed in the international set including a number of our local San Diegans..... and he designs for both women and men!

Among the mix there on this day were newlywed Nadine Barber, financial advisor Debra Patterson, Becca Cherry-Rumsey of Bouchaine Vineyards, Francine Mellon, Mary Lyman, Constance Hughes, hat designer Diana Cavagnaro, Lena Evans, Mary Drake (she just chaired the ROMP Gala for the RMHC-SD), Latina beauty Rocio Bernal Flynn, Nancy Gold, Joan Waitt, yoga maestra Bonnie Saldivar-Jones, Patsy Marino (she's a big supporter of the New Children's Museum too), Alexandra Rosa, and Steve Romande who came with the most beautiful girl..... his daughter Kingsley who is almost 1 years old!

Giuseppe Fine Catering did the perfect 'lite' bites including smoked salmon and offerings of Chardonay.

Part of the proceeds from the shopping will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities - San Diego. ....Good news. A lot of monies were raised with all of the purchasing action happening! Yigal's designs were snapped up FAST!

The Johnson Trophy will be awarded on day one of the Precision Strike Technology Symposium.

Mr. Whalen has over 50 years of successfully managing high-technology businesses that profitably produced products and systems that were transformative in their markets. He held senior executive management positions in advanced technology corporations such as Titan, Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin, and Alcoa. In addition, he has started and sold two successful technology-based companies.
His proven experience and knowledge in the core sciences combined with the practical experience of taking technologies from the lab to the field is unsurpassed.

* Margo Schwab, MBA, more formally known as Margaret E. Schwab, has produced, written, interviewed and photographed for various media organizations since 1989. Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations. She also continues to support animal organizations and the prevention of people and animal abuse. Schwab is the editor of The Social Diary.
