"I lost my best friend to cancer and have been dedicated to American Cancer Society ever since. I hope I never have to directly use their services, however, if I do, I know they will be there for me." - Joyce Glazer
One recent February night, Patrons of the American Cancer Society gathered at the clubhouse in Santa Luz for an evening celebrating Honoree Susie Spanos. Guests mingled and enjoyed appetizers and wine on a terrace with canyon views.
An overview of upcoming events included the April 9th, 2011 Carnivale Royale to be held April 9th, 2011 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Paddock. Big top entertainment produced by Steve Redfearn and Associates promises "an evening of entertainment - with a bit of the dark and mysterious added for good measure."
For more information, please email Sara.Haemmerle@cancer.org.
Doug and Nancy Barnhart and Chuck and Anne Dick are the Co-Chairs of the Gala event.
