(editor's note - Veronica and her husband Scott are expecting their first child, a son on June 1st.)

Hi Margo,

So I am sending you tear-sheets from my book, hopefully they will scan ok. If
you could please send them back though that would be great as they are the
only ones that I have. I am also attaching a photo of me and Deuce, a picture of
Lisa Andersen and my friend Stine, a Norwegian snowboard silver-medalist.
Another picture of my friend, Caroline during a photo-shoot for Roxy skis.
Hope these work and I will write something tomorrow!! Things have been hectic, though, don't know where to start.

Ok, and some more are on the way. So last week was a bit of a roller-
coaster, didn't know if we were coming or going. First, the plan was to buy a
house, so I started looking. Then we decided it wasn't a good time to buy, so
we started looking for a place to rent because we were told we had to be out
of here by the 31st of May (baby is due June 1)! Then we got a phone call
from our landlord telling us that if we wanted to stay we could but we would
have to sign another year lease. So that is what we are going to do. I am
relieved that we don't have to move and I can continue cleaning and getting
organized. It is so funny because my sister-in-law told me that that would
happen. "Just wait", she said, "You are going to start nesting". I didn't really
know what she meant, now I do. I bought some boxes from Costco yesterday
and am going to put all my old files and memorabilia in them. Next I want to
clean out my closet, and under the sinks. Anyway that is what is on my mind
right now. I am getting excited to see all my friends at my baby shower and
getting more excited to see our little boy's face everyday. Scott took me
shopping to find a new car (we need a four-door), still haven't decided but I
think I know. He also just got us a video-camera--so cool--that is what I
wanted most of all for when the baby comes. I am going to go get a hot-
chocolate and eat some breakfast because he is hungry.

everywhere you can. She loves fishing and her new found love of golf and gardening. Veronica now resides in Newport Beach with her husband Scott Baker. Veronica is used to surfing every day, except for now during her pregnancy of course.

Roxy has chosen to make Veronica an Ambassador to the brand, as well as a Mentor to upcoming talent. Veronica is an in demand spokesperson for Roxy Events.
