It was the 3rd Annual Tux 'N Tennies (TnT) event for the San Diego Symphony June 26th, 2010 at the Embarcadero, and guests came out to this special evening wearing red tennies, Gucci tennies and some, well just anything fun including shorts with tuxedo jackets and more!

All for a great cause. Over $150,000 was netted for the San Diego Symphony's education and outreach programs.

The evening started with the 'What's Everyone Wearing?' cocktail hour. A major look-see of who was creative in the attire zone. While the teenage musicians of KIDS ROCK BAND played, guests sipped Mumm's Champagne and other cocktails. Treble Clef straws were optional.

There was quite a seafood cocktail spread, and sports games including a basketball 3 point arcade hoops game.

Speaking of basketball, former Laker superstar Bill Walton and his wife Lori were co-chairs of this event!

The evening continued with a clever dinner menu by Sycuan Casino that finaled with 'Unforgettable Sweets & Treats,' and a stellar rockin' performance by the one and only Toni Braxton (Grammy winner) accompanied by the San Diego Symphony.

Tux 'n Tennies once again hit all the right notes for San Diegans!

* Margo Schwab, more formally known as Margaret E. Schwab, has produced, written, interviewed and photographed for various media organizations since 1989. Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations. She also continues to support animal organizations and the prevention of people and animal abuse. Schwab is the editor of The Social Diary.
